"Wall Street Journal" reported that BMW has announced that it would recall 45,500 7 Series vehicles in the United States due to the vehicle's electronic there is a hidden danger in automatic transmission system ,it will lead to slip while the car is in stop state. The document of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA said the recall involved a total of 45,500 vehicles 7 Series sedan, the production date between August 23, 2004 and 24 July 2008. The recall involves models are equipped with electronic key by-wire shift system 7 Series sedan. Drivers use the electronic key, do not need to key into the ignition latch, so the car is not in gear parking gear, the driver may have not found and leave the cars. If the driver did not pull up the handbrake, there may occur the car rolling, causing a safety hazard.
