According to Jiji Press news, Japan's core machinery orders amount (seasonally adjusted value) to 936.7 billion yen, with an increase of 19.1% in the previous month. 

From the point  view of different industries, manufacturing grew by 23.7% qoq, (except to ships and electric power) non-manufacturing  growth of 8.5%, external demand growth of 3.2%. 

January to March machinery orders rose 4.2% in the previous quarter, an increase of 4 consecutive quarters. 4 to 6 months than expected machinery orders rose 0.4% in the previous quarter.
