SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM) North America has appointed Ron Haimbaugh manager of product and catalog data, effective immediately.Mr. Haimbaugh will be responsible for developing and distributing product and catalog data for the SKF VSM automotive and heavy duty product lines, the company said. Mr. Haimbaugh has more than 24 years of aftermarket experience, according to SKF, most recently holding the position of data content manager for ATP Inc. in Elk Grove Village, Ill., where he was responsible for managing print catalogs and electronic data such as application information, product attribute details and digital assets. “Ron’s catalog background combined with his aftermarket experience makes him an excellent fit for this position,” said Don McEntee, vice president of marketing for SKF, noting Mr. Haimbaugh “will play an important role in helping to provide our customers with useful and accurate data and support materials.” Mr. Haimbaugh also is a task force leader within the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) Technology Standards Committee, a member of the National Catalog Managers Association and a board member of the AASA Technology Council.
